Free Consultation
The Free Consultation offered by BWP Architects Ltd (‘the architects’) are offered on the following Terms and Conditions and any requests for a Free Consultation are bound by these.
- Any request for a Free Consultation does not bind the architects to provide a Free Consultation and acceptance of any requests must be confirmed in writing by the architects. Requests for a Free Consultation in no way bind the ‘client’ to engage or appoint the architects for any other services.
- The duration of the free consultation is limited to one hour excluding travel time. No travel expenses will be charged by the architects unless agreed in advance. At the end of the Free Consultation the ‘client’s agree to make a donation of at least £100 to one of the charities supported by the architects.
- Copyright of any designs and sketches prepared by the architects prior during or post the free consultation is retained by the architects unless confirmed in writing. This, in some cases, this may require the payment of a licence fee.
- The architects accept no liability for any loss or damage, financial or otherwise, that may result from reliance on any advice, information, reports or drawings that are given as part of the Free Consultation. Any advice, information, reports or drawings will be based solely on information provided by the ‘client’.
- The architects accept no liability for any loss or damage, financial or otherwise, that may result from the ‘client’ engaging or discussing the works with any other consultant, contractor or supplier in respect of their project following a recommendation or suggestion by the architects.
- Any advice, sketches, reports or drawings prepared for such feasibility studies are for the sole use of the ‘client’. The use of or reliance upon any advice, sketches, reports or drawings prepared for such feasibility studies by a third party or assignment to a third party is dependant on receipt of written confirmation from BWP Architects Ltd.
- Prospective purchasers should note that no decisions regarding purchasing of land or properties should be made on the basis of any advice, information, reports or drawings. It is not possible for the architects to confirm whether planning permission or other any other permission will definitely be granted.
- No construction demolition or extension work should be undertaken without the proper permissions being sought and in place and without proper professional advice being obtained.
- Should the ‘client’ wish to engage the architects in further design work or for further advice then this will need to be done under a formal Contract.
