James Palmer RIBA
James Palmer undertook his architectural education at Leicester School of Architecture where he met Leigh and Jane.
James completed his studies in 1994 and worked in London for the next eleven years gaining considerable experience with social and sheltered housing projects and working with the volume house-building industry and a number of high-end developers including The Grosvenor Estate and Octagon Developments. James delivered complex projects involving new buildings within Conservation Areas and worked on the refurbishment of Grade I and Grade II Listed Buildings.
In August 2005 James moved with his family to Harrogate, North Yorkshire where he worked on a number of complex masterplanning and regeneration commissions for national housebuilders throughout the North of England.
James joined BWP Architects in June 2009 and has continued his work with the volume housebuilding industry as well as expanding the practice’s portfolio with an increasing number of bespoke residential commisions and work with Listed Buildings.
