Planning Permission granted by Waverley for large remodelling scheme in Farnham

Waverley Borough Council have today granted Full Planning Permission for a large remodelling and extension project in Farnham despite initial feedback from the planners that they were going to reject the scheme without discussion.

Having expressed our concern about this approach to the planner subsequent discussions between Partner Leigh Brooks and the planner officer to understand their concerns led to some small compromises to the scheme that turned what appeared to be a foregone refusal into an approval for our client.

Now the second battle can commence – going back for another bite of the cherry to see if we can’t get one or two of the compromises initially rejected back into the scheme – if the client wants us to!
