Works start on site for new timber frame home in Surrey

Works have started on site this month for a new modest timber frame home in Witley, Surrey.

Adjacent to Thursley Common, the new house has been designed to reflect the style and materials of a traditional gambrel roofed rural barn with black stained horizontal timber cladding and a plain clay tile roof. The overhanging eaves, brick plinth and zinc finish to the rainwater goods all help maintain this rural feel.
